I was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland and moved to the United States in 1992.
I am a 1991 graduate of the University of Ulster with a B.Sc (hons) in Sociology. Following my undergraduate work I began my seminary training at Union Theological College in Belfast but put that on hold on June of 1992 to move to Minnesota to work for two years in youth ministry.
Rather than return to Belfast in 1994 I decided to complete my seminary education at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN where I graduated with my M.Div in 1997.
For the next three years I worked at US West selling both residential and business phone services. In 2000 I was called to serve as pastor of Randolph Heights Presbyterian Church in St. Paul, MN. I served this congregation for four years before receiving a call to serve as the Associate Pastor of Centreville Presbyterian in VA.
While at Randolph Heights I began my D.Min at Bethel Seminary but put this on hold following my move to VA. I look forward to getting back into this program sometime in the future.
